Watch your child blossom at our Twirl Academy Classes as they make adorable friendships and become immersed in dance and learning! They’ll come home talking about all of the amazing things they did that day; especially when they learn to add and subtract using plies and relevés or made life size bubbles to pop with their arabesque in their science lesson! It will leave them with memories they’ll cherish forever. These specialized academy classes are developed for kids ages 3-6 who are ready to learn Pre-K and Kindergarten concepts and is a perfect way to spend the season learning and dancing with others! Students will explore the world of education with hands on activities and sensory play! Twirl Academy even gets a dance class each day! *Children must be fully putty trained without assistance

Twirl Academy is offered Thursdays from 9:00am-1:00pm! Monthly: $155 a month Drop In Days (24 advanced notice required): $55/day Enrollment is best suited for dancers ages 3-6 years old. Children must be fully potty trained without assistance to attend. All Academy Classes have limited space and are drop off only. Teachers will have the ability to spend quality enrichment time with your child. Our Twirl Academy teacher is Miss Christina! |

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND MORE!
At Bella Ballerina our aim is always to keep our dancers safe and happy. During classes at Twirl Academy, you can come to expect the following measures and protocols in place to ensure a safe environment for attending students. As always, if your dancer is sick, please do not attend class. If a member of your family is sick, please stay home as well.
- WHEN STUDENTS ARRIVE When you arrive, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before class start times. At arrival, you can help your child in the door to help them put their stuff away or drop off at the front door and a teacher will assist them once inside. They will leave their things in the changing room and bring their water bottle to put on the counter by their name. Feel free to use the bathroom inside the studio with your dancer before drop off!
- PICK UP PROTOCOL At pick up each day you will meet outside the classroom door. The teachers will take contact information on the first day but use teacher to parent face recognition at the door for pick ups after. If there is a change to pick up for any reason (grandma, nanny, neighbor, etc) notify the studio via email and in person reminder/note to the teachers, or a phone call for a same day change. Visitors will be asked to show ID to confirm identity upon arrival.
- COME DRESSED AND READY TO GO! Dress your child in clothes that are easy to move around in! Feel free to wear play clothes or dance clothes (but no tights)! We are a hands on learning program so messes will be made and spills might happen, take this into consideration when picking clothes for the day! Dancers must be potty trained to attend but please pack a spare set of clothing in their bags. We do go outside to do bubbles or play games so as the weather changes dress accordingly or pack a jacket!
- BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE, SNACK AND LUNCH Every dancer should come with their own LABELED water bottle and a SNACK/LUNCH in a LABELED bag. We are a NUT FREE ZONE. Please no peanuts/tree nuts. One of our teachers has a severe allergy! We will offer nut free/gluten free snacks if you forget, but require you pack your child a lunch!
- TWIRL ACADEMY LEARNING ACTIVITIES This is a kindergarten readiness enrichment camp program that specializes in ages 3-5 years old! We are a homeschool/Montessori styled program where students will engage in sensory play, create crafts, and be taught through hands on activities that help build fine motor and gross motor skills! Students will learn social and emotional skills as well as the basics of dance! We are perfect for hands on and active learners! Twirl Academy does not claim to be an accredited preschool, private school or daycare. Sessions are rather a supplement for learning and socialization. Children will learn age appropriate dance curriculum as well as various academic activities according to their appropriate ability level.
- CLEANLINESS / SANITIZATION / DISINFECTING PROTOCOL We will be practicing frequent hand washing, disinfecting and sanitizing of the studio, as well as keeping as many supplies for students as possible. Please wash hands upon arrival. Students must be fully potty trained without assistance to attend. Please make sure your dancer can fully go the bathroom by themselves including wiping etc.

- Twirl Academy runs Thursdays 9:00am - 1:00pm
Once a week - $155 per month
Drop in rate $55 for one day
Price includes: A full dance class, crafts to take home, science experiments, homeschool enrichment material and engaging free play toys! - No Refunds Twirl Academy is broken into 12 week sessions payable in full or in three monthly payments. Your student is registered and committed for all 12 weeks. All Holiday breaks are factored into the 12 weeks. There are no refunds/tuition credits for any reason. This includes; vacation, illness, injury, inclement weather, or change of school. There are no makeup classes for missed Twirl Academy classes. If your child is unable to finish the Session, tuition for the remainder of the Session will still be due, as we have reserved your dancers spot for 12 weeks. If you need to drop due to a move more than 30 miles away from your current studio location, 30 day notice is required. Refunds/Credits will not be given for missed classes due to any reason unless listed above, as we have saved your dancers spot in class and purchased supplies for them for each day.
- Inclement Weather We Do NOT follow the Guilford County school closure schedule. Instead we will contact you directly via email should Twirl Academy be cancelled. You can also find if classes are cancelled on the homepage of our facebook. Days missed due to inclement weather may be made up via make up days/virtual session offerings. There are no refunds or credits for classes missed due to inclement weather.
